Buttler Pakistan ODIs se bahar, World Cup se pehle Cox ko extended chance milne ki line-up

Jos Buttler agle mahine Pakistan me England ki ODI tri-series miss karenge, hamstring injury ke baad, aur uske baad Australia ki white-ball tour ke liye bhi woh major doubt hain. Buttler Headingley me Sri Lanka ke khilaaf England ki haar ke dauran injured hue the, pehle retiring hurt kiya aur phir thodi der ke liye apni innings resume bhi ki, aur ECB abhi bhi damage ki full extent ka wait kar raha hai.

Jordan Cox se expected hai ki woh gloves pehnenge aur middle-order role me extended spell ke liye rahenge, kyunki Brendon McCullum agle saal ke 50-over World Cup se pehle England ki depth test karna chahte hain. McCullum ne yeh bhi indicate kiya ki Sam Curran aur Adil Rashid Pakistan trip ke liye wapas aa sakte hain, jabki Jacob Bethell ke Australia tour tak wapas aane ki ummeed nahi hai.

WPL 2027: RCB ne Harris aur Smith ko release kiya, Perry ne confirm kiya woh available hain; UPW aur DC ne bhi squads reshape kiye

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru ne WPL 2027 se pehle Grace Harris, Linsey Smith, D Hemalatha aur Gautami Nayak ko release kar diya hai, jabki Ellyse Perry ne confirm kiya hai ki woh available hain, 2026 season personal reasons ki wajah se miss karne ke baad. RCB head coach Malolan Rangarajan ne kaha ki Perry ne August me indicate kiya tha ki woh return karne ke liye keen hain, aur franchise ne 13 players ka core retain kiya hai.

UP Warriorz, jo 2026 me bottom finish kiye the, ne Deandra Dottin aur Chloe Tryon samet nine players release kiye aur mini-auction me seven vacancies aur sabse bada purse (INR 3.65 crore) ke saath jayenge. Delhi Capitals ne Alana King, Lizelle Lee, Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia, Pragati Singh aur Eddla Srujana ko let go kiya, jabki Gujarat Giants ne Danni Wyatt-Hodge ko among others release kiya; Mumbai Indians ne six players release kiye aur unke paas seven slots open hain lekin smallest remaining purse (INR 1 crore). WPL January 14 se February 7 tak chalega, aur mini-auction October 28 ko Kochi me hoga.

Asian Games men’s semi-finals washouts ke baad confirm: Pakistan-Bangladesh aur India-Sri Lanka

Asian Games men’s cricket competition seedha semi-finals me chali gayi, kyunki Nisshin me chaaron quarter-finals bina ek ball bowled hue wash out ho gaye. Pakistan Thursday ko 9am local time par Bangladesh se milega, aur India 2pm par Sri Lanka ka saamna karega, aur Nisshin Saturday ke medal matches bhi host karega.

Rain abhi bhi possibility hai, isliye playing conditions me kisi bhi tie ke liye Super Over rakha gaya hai, jabki agar weather ki wajah se match ya Super Over complete na ho paye to higher seed aage badhega. India aur Pakistan apne respective semi-finals me higher seeds hain; agar final wash out hota hai to gold medal share kiya jayega.

South Africa me Australia ko Ellis aur Davies injury se lose, final ODI ke liye squad options narrow

Nathan Ellis ko side strain ki wajah se South Africa ke khilaaf third aur final ODI se ruled out kar diya gaya hai, jabki left-arm spinner Joel Davies bhi tour chhod denge, second ODI me Johannesburg me substitute fielder ke taur par fielding karte waqt hamstring strain hone ke baad. Ellis Zimbabwe aur South Africa legs me Australia ke best bowler rahe the, phir second match me four overs ke baad break down ho gaye.

Australia ne Wednesday ko Potchefstroom me final ODI ke liye replacements name nahi kiye, jisse unke paas choose karne ke liye four fit quicks bachte hain; Pat Cummins ke return karne ki sambhavna hai, kyunki woh pehle do games miss kar chuke the, aur Mitchell Starc ko second me rest diya gaya tha isliye unka khelna chahiye. Abhi tak yeh decision nahi hua hai ki Josh Inglis October 9 se start hone wali Test series ke liye available honge ya nahi, opening ODI me finger break hone ke baad.

Rabada Australia Tests ke liye South Africa ki preliminary squad me, fitness call ka wait

Kagiso Rabada ko October 9 se Durban me start hone wali Australia ke khilaaf three-match Test series ke liye South Africa ki preliminary Test squad me include kiya gaya hai, aur unki hamstring recovery ko next week intra-squad match me assess kiya jayega. Head coach Shukri Conrad ne kaha ki final decision us three-day game ke ek ya do din baad aayega.

Lungi Ngidi, Ottneil Baartman aur Kwena Maphaka ko hamstring issues ki wajah se consider nahi kiya gaya, jabki Anrich Nortje seven quicks ke expanded group me hain, kyunki woh March 2023 ke baad apna pehla Test khelne ke liye push kar rahe hain. Uncapped top-order batter Marques Ackerman squad me sirf ek naya naam hain, aur Dewald Brevis ko chhod diya gaya hai, Conrad ke mutabik woh subcontinent Tests ke liye zyada suited hain.
