Arjun Tendulkar’s all-round stamp
Tendulkar first ripped through NaMo Bandra Blasters’ top order, then blazed a chase that barely lasted 14 overs as ARCS Andheri won by 9 wickets with 25 balls remaining. The decisive moment came early in the pursuit: after a single wicket in the powerplay, Tendulkar and Musheer Khan shut the door with a long, unbroken assault that turned 145 into a formality.
Powerplay collapse set the tone
The match was effectively decided in the first six overs of NaMo’s innings. Reduced to 37 for 5 in the powerplay, they spent the rest of the night rebuilding rather than dictating terms. Tendulkar’s 3-over spell for 11 at 3.7 an over, backed by Prasoon Singh’s 2 for 12, kept the scoring in check and ensured even a late surge could only push NaMo to 144 for 9.
Tendulkar and Musheer finish it
ARCS’ reply was defined by a 74-run powerplay at 12.3 an over, then a controlled middle phase that never dipped into panic. Tendulkar’s 66 off 34 (strike rate 194) supplied the boundary bursts, while Musheer’s 54 off 38 anchored the 116-run stand that decided the game. With the ball, Tendulkar’s 3 for 11 earned him a clear MVP in a match he dominated end to end.
Keshkamat resists, late overs lift
Shyamsundar Om Keshkamat provided the lone sustained resistance with 49 off 36, but support was fragmented. The best partnership was just 40 (Keshkamat with Dhrumil Matkar), underlining how often wickets interrupted momentum. NaMo did find a release at the death, scoring 46 for 2 in the final phase, yet the earlier damage meant they entered the break without a total that could pressure a flying chase.
