Shinozada closes it out
Faisal Shinozada owned the decisive passage, first dragging Amo Sharks out of early trouble and then steering them home with three balls left. Chasing 191, Amo were 47/3 inside the powerplay before Shinozada and Shahidullah Kamal flipped the script with a long, controlled assault. Mis Ainak Knights’ late resistance with the ball ensured a tense finish, but Amo Sharks still got over the line at 191/6 in 19.3 overs.
Kamal-Shinozada middle-overs heist
The match was effectively won in Amo’s middle overs. From 7.6 an over in the powerplay, they surged through the middle phase at 10.6, turning a shaky start into a position of command. The 125-run partnership between Kamal and Shinozada blunted the Knights’ best spell and forced defensive fields early, leaving Amo needing only a manageable rate at the death.
Standouts in a one-run game
Shinozada’s 71 off 40 (SR 178) was the innings that defined the chase, with Kamal’s 55 off 35 providing the stability and tempo for that 125-run stand. For the Knights, Ziaur Rahman Sharifi’s 3/34 kept the contest alive by breaking partnerships, while Qais’ economical four overs were the key reason the Knights’ middle overs never caught fire.
Knights’ chase: fast, then stuck
Mis Ainak Knights began their 190/5 with real intent, racing to 65/2 in the powerplay, but the chase stalled badly in the middle overs. Qais Ahmad’s 2/25 squeezed scoring lanes and helped drag the mid-innings rate down to 6.6, shifting pressure onto the finish. Afsar Zazai’s 44 off 33 anchored the recovery, and the Knights exploded late at 14.8 an over in the death, but the earlier slowdown left them a run short.
